OUR STORY
Opened in October 2020 by Matt and Marcia Duke, Eterna Tattoo Studio has established itself as a mainstay of Ottawa Valley tattooing.
Our goal here is to treat every client with the respect and attention they deserve. We provide a clean environment and modern safety standards, as well as experienced and professional employees who will provide a wonderful experience tailored to your needs.
It is our passion to create living art and give each one of our clients a quality experience from start to finish.
We’re inspired by the people, the culture, and the fiber of the Ottawa Valley. That’s where our artists call home.
Matt Duke
Shop Owner/Senior Tattoo Artist
Born and raised in Hamilton, Matt had an interest in art from a young age. He pursued his artwork at Sheridan College where he obtained a Bachelor of Illustration. This led him to becoming a tattoo apprentice in 2011.
In 2015, he began working in the tattoo industry full time, and was most recently working with the experienced and talented artists at Hamilton Tattoo Parlour.
Alongside his family in October 2020, Matt relocated to Pembroke to pursue his dream of owning his own shop. Not long after, he opened Eterna Tattoo Studio, offering custom tattoo service* to the area.
Matt is interested in all styles of tattoo art and design, with a special interest in black and grey realism and always enjoys a fun challenge. His approach to needlework is traditional with a modern edge, which leaves plenty of room for individual interpretation and creativity. Langdon K.
Junior Artist
We're thrilled to have Langdon in our Eterna family as a junior artist. Langdon joined us in December 2022 and began tattooing full-time by May 2023.

Langdon studied Illustration at OCAD, and takes inspiration from comics and anime. He loves doing work that’s bold, fun and weird.

Courtney P.
Junior Artist
Courtney grew up in Pembroke and knew that she wanted to pursue art since 1st grade. She is self taught and began painting professionally in 2017.
Tattooing was always Courtney's artistic goal! She has a love for anime and other "nerdy" tattoos, but is hoping to specialize in realism as she continues to grow as an artist.

Adrienne Brown, Junior Artist
Adrienne Brown: tattoo artist and all-around warrior woman. Adrienne went to college for Graphic Design, and then Illustration, and has taken her expertise to a new medium with tattooing. When not working, you will probably find Adrienne with her dogs, making art, reading, baking, or gardening.
Having previously worked in her private studio Moth and Moon Tattoo, Adrienne will be joining us full-time beginning December 2023! With a focus on botanical art & tattoos, we're excited to have her join our team and can't wait to see her tattoo portfolio grow!

Tash S, White Feather Tattoo Studio

Tash, from White Feather Studio, works directly with clients to create body art based on their input, but also provides guidance and artistic vision for the process. She believes you should pick an artist based on how their style fits your unique needs.
Previously based out of Petawawa, Tash has relocated to Eterna Tattoo Studio and works from our space. With lots of experience and gorgeous tattoos under her belt, we're thrilled to be working alongside with Tash.

Elle D., Apprentice
We're so excited to share the news! Elle is joining the crew as an apprentice at Eterna!
Elle has lived in the Ottawa Valley for the majority of her life.
She is known by her peers for her fun, creative spark!
She is a self-taught artist who enjoys dabbling in different art mediums. Her favourite mediums have been acrylic painting, jewelry making and drawing.
A career in tattooing was always a distant dream she wished to pursue, so you could say she's living the life right now✌️

Elle gives strong goblin energy and enjoys adventuring outside, collecting all the trinkets, driftwood and fossils she can find around the Ottawa Valley. She loves all things whimsical/fantastical/spooky/mysterious.

She loves to spend her freetime cuddling her two cats, Bindi and Crow, bopping to a song she is currently hyperfixated on, and geeking over the night sky and pop culture😺✨

Piercer
Born and raised in Kingston, Madison is a queer and body positive piercer who is new to the Ottawa Valley, but not new to piercing!
A long lived fascination with body modification has led her into a career of providing safe quality piercings and jewelry to her clients.
